I love s’mores… Everything about them. I know that on the blog, I’ve posted different s’mores recipes for cupcakes … but I feel like it is time to talk about the real deal.
During the summer time, it is so much fun to light a fire in our back yard and roast marshmallows and make s’mores. But let’s make it more fun! Lets make a s’mores bar. There are a lot of ways to spice up your s’mores at home. I personally think it’s all about the chocolate. I always stick with the classic honey maid graham cracker and jet puff marshmallows but really spice it up with the chocolate.
Of course there are endless types of candy and chocolate, but I tried to pick some variety. James and I chose reeses, York peppermint patties, Ghirardelli dark chocolate sea salt caramel squares, and Ghirardelli chocolate toffee crunch squares.
The sea salt caramel chocolate may have been my favorite but I definitely want to make s’mores with the peppermint patties again during Christmas.
Next time you have people over, seriously consider having a s’mores bar and mixing it up!
Whats you’re favorite s’mores combo?
