Nutella Pie Pops

Today and February 5th… I don’t know if you know what that means, so I’ll tell you! It is WORLD NUTELLA DAY! Nutella is one of my greatest loves and does no wrong in my book. So today, I celebrate my love for Nutella by making pie pops!

Little pies filled with Nutella on a stick… you can’t go wrong with that.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees

Line two cookie sheets with parchment

–          1 9-inch pie dough

  • Makes about 17 pie pops
  • You can get a premade dough or use my homemade dough

–          10 (more or less) teaspoons of Nutella

–          1 egg

Roll the pie dough. You want it to be pretty thin, about a centimeter thick. Take a round cookie cutter that has about an inch diameter and cut out the shapes. I took the scraps and re rolled the dough only once to get more rounds.

Beat the egg in a small bowl. Take a round and brush the edges with egg. Put about ½ teaspoon of Nutella in the center. Place the lollipop handle in the center and put another round on top. Press a fork around the edges to seal them. Place each on the lined cookie sheet. When they are all done, brush the tops with egg and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
