Nutella? THAT’S RIGHT! Nutella! One of the best things to ever come to this earth. As a picky little food brat, I lived off this stuff when I went to Switzerland at 11 years old. Then, A MIRACLE, nutella made its journey to the United States and Americans have never looked back… Peanut butter who?
Well… I still love peanut butter, but as a chocoholic, I prefer nutella. This cake is so easy, but tastes like you slaved over it.
Gluten free! FYI
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
Grease a spring form pan (I then lined it with parchment and greased again)
– 1 heaping cup of Nutella
– 2 tablespoons of cinnamon
– 4 eggs
With a stand mixer start whipping the eggs (you could use a hand mixer but it will take longer). Whip the eggs until they triple in volume (about 6-10 minutes). Microwave the nutella for 30 seconds to get it a little softer. Add the cinnamon, and then add the eggs in three stages. Add the first third and fold into the nutella, repeat until it is fully incorporated. Pour in the spring form pan.
Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool completely in the pan (1-2 hours). Then remove and serve!
You didn’t think it would be that easy did you?
