cinnamon, sugar, delicious

Its day 3 of the 25 days of Christmas Cookie Challenge! Some of my favorite cookies have to be snicker doodle, and they are so incredibly easy to make! I love all the cinnamon and sugar that coats the cookies, it’s so delicious and these cookies are so soft and fluffy! Make these and impress everyone!

START!

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees

Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper

INGREDIENTS

–          2 sticks of butter (softened)

–          1 ½ cup of white sugar

–          2 large eggs

–          2 ¾ cups of flour

–          2 teaspoons of cream of tartar

–          1 teaspoon of baking soda

–          Pinch of salt

–          ¼ cup of sugar

–          ⅛ cup of cinnamon

–          1 tablespoon of nutmeg

Whisk together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl, set aside. With a stand mixer or a hand mixer start mixing the butter and sugar together. Then mix in the eggs. Slowly add the flour mixture in and mix until it is fully incorporated. Set the dough in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.

In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon and nutmeg. Get the dough out of the oven, spoon about a tablespoon of dough and dunk it into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Make sure to coat the whole dough ball. Place on the cookie sheet, and repeat until the dough is gone, spacing the cookies about an inch apart. Bake in the oven for 8-11 minutes. Take the cookies out when they still seem a little soft; they will set once they are out.
